How to play · Tie the Knot

Make this wedding impossible to forget.

Tie the Knot gets every table talking — place the 36-card deck at the reception and let guests draw dares all night long.

01

Place the deck

Put the deck at the head table, bar, guest book station, or photo booth. Anywhere guests naturally gather works.

02

Pick the categories

Choose three of five categories. Sweet and Social during dinner; Cheeky and Scandalous once the champagne hits.

03

Draw throughout the night

Guests pull cards between courses, during toasts, or whenever the energy dips. No formal turns — just grab and play.

04

Pick your target

Dare a guest across the room, the maid of honor, the groom's uncle, or the whole table. Mix it up.

05

Read for the room

Sweet cards during family hour. Save Bold and Scandalous for when the dance floor fills up and inhibitions drop.

06

Capture the stories

The best dares become the stories the couple hears about for years. Encourage photos — with permission.

The only rule that matters

Anyone can pass — especially Grandma.

Every dare is optional. Mixed-age groups work best with a pass-friendly house rule. The goal is laughter and connection, not embarrassment.
